I am this

1. This really is version 3.1. Version 3 of my site started some time ago and appeared to be trend following too much so it was re-made into the site you see before you. hallodom.co.uk site reflects my ability as a web design and part of personality too.

Like all my website's it begins with creative enthusiasm. I then take a sketch pad and block out a wireframe along with descriptions of how the site should feel and work.

2. The design is then taken into Photoshop. Here I can create all the graphical elements needed for the UI build. An Wacom tablet can sometimes come into the mix.

3. When I am excited by the result in Photoshop, it's time to lay down some solid clean, standards compliant HTML & CSS. You may notice that my website does not validate to HTML and CSS standards, this is intentional as I am using future browser standards such as CSS3.

4. Now for the User Interface enhancements with JQuery. Like the final polish that makes a table really shine, Javascript is for me the icing on the cake.

5. As a final touch I like to look over the load times of various elements and see if I can optimise or reduce the load time of the longest loading elements. This may be achieved through minifying my Javascript or compressing images further. Often I will re-write parts of my Javascript to make less calls to the DOM.

6. Finally run a few SEO tests, then its test, test, test, (fix), test ... Launch!
