Dioceseofsalford.org.uk was jointly designed by myself and colleagues while at Cuckoo Design.
The website has been a huge success with over 42,000 visits since it's launch in July 2010, with an average of 400 visits a day.
The site makes extensive use of Joomla! boasting more than 680 pages taking over 2 months development. It serves as the centre of information for the Diocese of Salford and its members detailing mass times, news feed, pilgrimages, staff directory, photo gallery, locator tool, events and video content.
For different reasons the website design was changed somewhat from original psd's which I supplied. You can see the original designs here.
The Diocese of Salford website re-design and build accompanied with the iPhone app got quite a lot of press:
M.E.N - Keep in touch with God
M.E.N - Sends prayers to your iPhone

The content management system Joomla! allows for easy editing of articles, news feeds, galleries and whatever else you can think of.
The website allows the Diocese staff to easily manage their online video content and embed video wherever they please.

A directory was made to house a searchable database of all the Diocese of Salford staff, priests, churches, schools and communities.
Very fancy image gallery with JQuery effects and pre-loading.

The Diocese went through a long process of client requirements. Here are my initial designs.
